3259, Casavant, Baltimore, MD

Casavant, Opus 2092 (1951)

Baltimore, MD

Free to a good home, recipient to pay removal cost.

Built by one of North America’s great companies, this grand organ includes a wide variety of eight-foot tone, six independent sixteen-foot voices, two sets of celestes, and six reeds. It’s well suited for an active church music program, leading a large congregation, and for the performance of the organ literature.

The organ is in good condition and playable, ready for your audition visit, but will be dismantled and placed in storage in December before the building changes hands, where it will remain available.

New SSOS controls were installed in 2024, Swell pipes were cleaned in 2017, and Swell reeds restored by Casavant in 2017.
